Rates & Payment

RATE POLICIES

  • Please contact us by phone – 404-317-0129 or email hidden; JavaScript is required for a quote.
  • We bill our services in 6 minute increments; our minimum charge is 12 minutes.
  • Some services may be available at flat rates.
  • Evening, weekend and ‘emergency’ hours may be available upon request*; such requests will be handled on an individual basis and may be billed at the adjusted hourly rate of 1½ times the regular hourly rate.
  • Discounts are available for prepaid service packages.

You will be billed for fees and expenses incurred on your behalf, such as: photocopies, PACER, postage, fax charges, overnight/expedited delivery services, couriers, court fees, internet search/investigative fees, and, if necessary, reasonable travel expenses.

PAYMENT TERMS:  

  • Invoices are sent, via e-mail, at the end of each month.
  • Payment is due within 30 days upon receipt of the invoice.
  • Past due accounts are subject to penalties and interest and may be placed on hold until payment is made.
  • Accepted forms of payment:
    • Checks, cashier’s checks or money orders made payable to StarrParalegals, LLC.
    • PayPal payments will include a 3% processing surcharge.
    • Our Federal TIN is provided in our Services Agreement** and on all invoices.
  • Any fees for returned checks or non-collectible funds that may be assessed by our bank will be charged back to you.

REQUIRED PRE-PAYMENTS:
All filing fees to the U.S. District or Bankruptcy Courts require pre-payment. There may be other instances where pre-payment will be required; we will advise you of such fees as they occur.

* Schedule and Office Hours: STARRParalegals’ office hours, although flexible, are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Fridays from 8:00 am until one hour before sunset (all times EST/EDT) excluding, but not limited to, the following listed holidays: all Jewish holidays upon which work is prohibited; New Year’s Eve; New Year’s Day; Memorial Day; July 4th; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day and day following; and Christmas Day.

**First time clients receive a Services Agreement outlining specific terms.
